Charlotte and I both enjoy photography. I have been taking pictures for years with a point and shoot cameras, and Charlotte got one of the first digital cameras out with 640x480 resolution, and several more upgraded digitals since. Since the old days we have moved on to Film SLR (Nikon N65), and most recently a Digital SLR (Nikon D70). We started our own business in hopes of someday making enough money at photography that we can just do that all the time and quit our regular jobs. I enjoy underwater, landscapes and wilderness photography, while Charlotte likes Portraits, B&W, Stills, and Macros.

Javafoto is our photography business site. We came up with the name because a local coffee shop said we could put out pictures in their store. That is when we got serious about it but it took us a while to get our cards, pictures and website going so by the time we were ready the coffee shop had already gone out of business. In the future we might try to find another cafe or coffee shop to post our pictures in. Right now we are booking an occasional art show or flea market to try to make sales. We are still in the learning process so I might be a while before we really get the business going.

The Gallery is a really neat software that we run on Javafoto. I've also installed it here since I like it so much. Unfortunately I don't have time to photoshop all the pictures I post here and haven't even touched up some of the pics on javafoto. So most of our travel and other pictures in the cosmic gallery will be posted as is. I hope you still enjoy them and remember that since they are digital there is no nice color processing like when you take your film to get developed, unless you photoshop them of course.
